A streamlined, price transparent approach to patient care

Physician Services & Fees

Florida Family Psychiatry is not contracted with any insurance payers including Medicare and Medicaid. Insurance company models do not adequately allow the extensive amount of time, detail, and flexibility it often takes to complete a comprehensive psychiatric or functional Medicine assessment and discuss options for treatment. The goal of our practice is to provide more detailed care, better accessibility, and longer visits than are generally available in insurance models. To learn more, please call us at (813) 337-7577.

Telephone Consultation

We also offer in-person or telehealth treatment options

Dr. Linek offers prospective patients a complimentary 15 minute telephone consultation to determine if she is the appropriate psychiatrist for you and/or your family member.

New Patient Evaluation

Bringing a unique patient experience Tampa Bay & Beyond
New patients to the practice must have an initial psychiatric evaluation. This time with your physician is invaluable to understand the medical, psychological, and social factors that will be considered when making an accurate diagnosis and creating a treatment plan.
  • Please be prepared to spend 2 hours at the new patient evaluation. All new patient evaluations require a 120 minute appointment and may take 90-120 minutes. Parents/guardians must be in attendance for all child or adolescent appointments.
  • Typically, Dr. Linek will spend 30-40 minutes with parents/guardians, 30-40 minutes with the child/adolescent if appropriate, and finally, 30-40 minutes with the whole family going through the treatment plan.
  • Please provide records of prior testing, treatment, and school records at or prior to the evaluation via patient portal questionnaires.
  • Individualized treatment plans are based on evidence-based medical approaches and may include medication (if appropriate), referrals, lab work, and/or therapy.
  • Changes in lifestyle, environmental, and behavioral/parenting approaches may also be recommended.
