Yes, we offer virtual visits across the state of Florida.
There is no difference in cost between in-person and virtual visits.

Florida Family Psychiatry is not contracted with any insurance payers including Medicare and Medicaid.
Even though we are not in-network with your insurance, your insurance may allow you to see Dr. Linek as an “out of network” physician and seek “out of network” reimbursement.
Insurance companies do not adequately allow the extensive amount of time, detail, and flexibility it often takes to complete a comprehensive psychiatric or Functional Medicine assessment and discuss options for treatment.
Dr. Linek has established her practice to provide more detailed care, better accessibility, and longer visits than are generally available in insurance models.

For those with private insurance, you may request an itemized invoice (superbill) at checkout which you can submit to your insurance for out-of-network reimbursement.
Many PPO plans reimburse a percentage of out-of-network visit costs. Depending on your policy, you may receive up to 75% reimbursement for the out-of-network charges.
Your insurance company can inform you of the amount they reimburse you for out-of-network care.

Controlled prescription medications are subject to federal and state laws as well as standard-of-care prescribing practices. If medications are not used carefully, the patient can have side effects, become addicted to them, or overdose on them. An overdose can cause death. Because of these dangers, it is important for the patient or guardian to understand the rules for using these medicines. Patients receiving controlled substances will sign a document that they understand our policy for prescribing these medicines.
The patient must attend follow-up appointments as directed.
No extra or early refills will be issued for any reason, including if the controlled substance medications are lost.
